The Epilepsy Association of Calgary (EAC), a compassionate and dedicated charitable social service agency with a history rooted in community care. Established in 1955, we are Calgary’s sole community-based non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of individuals affected by epilepsy.

Our Story

For nearly 65 years, the EAC has been a guiding light for individuals and families navigating the challenges of epilepsy. As a 100% charitable donation-funded organization, our collaborative spirit shines through. Co-located with the Parkinson’s Association of Alberta, we forge close partnerships with Alberta Health Services personnel, ensuring seamless transitions for those newly diagnosed and an improved quality of life for those living with epilepsy.

Our current focus revolves around increasing engagement and empowerment. We strive to strengthen relationships with clinics and build a continuum of epilepsy care to better serve our community.
